The manual is the result of a dedicated collaborative effort between the Swedish Disability Movement, The Swedish Radio Corporation, and Dagens Nyheter, the leading daily newspaper in Scandinavia. The idea is not to present an absolute truth, but rather to stimulate a debate in
which all parties concerned may feel that they have something to learn.
